Our Terms & Policies
Our goal is to create an inspiring, welcoming and unforgettable experience for every guest. To ensure a smooth retreat for everyone, please read the following policies before booking.
Booking
Your reservation is confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due 12 weeks before the retreat begins. You will receive a reminder by email before the payment deadline.
Please note that if the final payment is not received at least 10 weeks before the retreat start date, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds for cancellations follow our published
cancellation policy. We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes trip
cancellation coverage.
If you cancel:

more than 120 days before departure: the $500 deposit is forfeited

30-120 days before departure: 50% of total cost forfeited

0-30 days before departure: 100% of total cost forfeited
If we cancel, you get a full refund.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is required for all participants. Your policy should include medical
care, emergency evacuation, travel interruption, lost baggage and personal liability.
Your Well-Being
By attending the retreat, you confirm that you are fit to participate in the scheduled activities. Please let us know in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements.
Participation
Every retreat includes travel, excursions and group activities that naturally involve a degree of risk. By joining the retreat, you accept these inherent risks and participate at your own discretion.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Michael Solovyev Studio Inc, its
instructors, staff and partners are not responsible for injury, illness, accidents, theft, loss or damage of personal property, travel disruptions, actions of third-party providers, weather conditions, government restrictions or other events beyond our control. Participants remain responsible for their own safety, health and belongings throughout the retreat.
Personal Belongings
Program Flexibility
Please look after your art materials, cameras, computers, luggage and other
valuables. We cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Occasionally we may adjust the schedule, accommodation, excursions or instructor due to circumstances beyond our control. Any replacement will be of a comparable quality whenever possible.
Respect for Others
We strive to maintain a warm and respectful atmosphere. We reserve the right to ask any participant whose behaviour seriously disrupts the retreat or compromises the safety or enjoyment of others to leave the program without refund.
Force Majeure
We cannot be held responsible for cancellations, delays or changes resulting from
extraordinary events such as natural disasters, pandemics, government actions,
strikes or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
